Below you will find information about the conference venues and the conference hotels. If you haven any trouble with the directions, or if you require directions for getting to the venue from a different location, please get in touch with the one of the local organizers.

Please be aware that Monday May 28 is a holiday, so the university and the MCMP office will be closed.
VENUE A (Nymphenburg Schloß)
Südliches Schloßrondell 23, 80638 München
The venue for the first four days of FEW is the Carl-Friedrich-von Siemens Foundation at the Nymphenburg Castle in the west of Munich. For information about how to reach the venue from the different hotels, see below. [Map]
VENUE B (LMU Munich, Main university building)
Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1, 80539 München (Ludwigstraße)
On Saturday the FEW is moving to a lecture theatre in the main university building of LMU Munich, Room A120 on the first floor (overview of building). For information about how to reach the venue, see below. [Map]
GETTING TO THE HOTEL
From airport or train station to Hotel Kriemhild
Hotel Kriemhild, Guntherstraße 16, 80639. From the airport, take the S-bahn (S1 or S8) to Hauptbahnhof (the main train station) (ca 40 min). The ticket is €10, and can be bought in the airport at a machine or the ticket counter.
From Hauptbahnhof you can get the Tram 16 or 17 to Kriemhildenstraße (direction Romanplatz and Amalienburgstraße respectively). Go

From airport or train station to Hotel Nymphenburg
Hotel Nymphenburg, Nymphenburgerstraße 141, 80636. As above, take the S-bahn (S1 or S8) to Hauptbahnhof. Then continue with U1 to Rotkreutzplats (direction Olympia-Einkaufszentrum). From Rotkreutzplatz walk down Nymphenburgstraße, the hotel is on your right hand after Landshuter Allee.
From airport or train station to Parkhotel Laim
Parkhotel Laim, Zschokkestraße 55 80686. As above, but from Hauptbahnhof take the U4 or U5 to Westendstraße (direction Laimerplatz for U5).
From airport or train station to Munich-City Youth Hostel
Munich-City Youth Hostel, Wendl-Dietrich-Str. 20. As above, but from Hauptbahnhof take the U1 to Rotkreutzplatz (towards Olympia-Einkaufszentrum). You can then walk down Wendl-Dietrich-Str to the hostel.
GETTING TO VENUE A (Schloss Nymphenburg)
From Hotel Kriemhilde
The conference venue is the Siemens Stiftung, Südl. Schlossrondell 23, in the Schloss Nymphenburg. The venue is a 17 min walk from Hotel Kriemhild (directions below). Alternatively, you can take the Tram 17 two stops to Schloss Nymphenburg. (Get directions here.)
From Hotel Nymphenburg
From Hotel Nymphenburg the easiest route is to walk from Nymphenburgstraße to Arnulfstraße to get the Tram 17 to Nympenburg Schloss (see above). (Get directions here.)
From Parkhotel Laim
From Parkhotel Laim you can take U5 one stop from Friedenheimer Straße to Laimer Platz (endstation). From there bus line 51 towards Moosach Bahnhof stops at Schloß Nymphenburg (takes approx. 14 min). Alternatively, you can take the U4 or U5 back to Hauptbahnhof, and then change to tram 17 to go to Nymphenburg Schloß.
From Munich-City Youth Hostel
From Wendl-Dietrich-Str. 20, walk to Rotkreutz Platz. From there you can get the Tram 12 to Romanplatz. From there you can walk 5 min to Venue A. (

GETTING TO VENUE B (LMU Munich, Main building, Ludwigstraße) [Saturday only]
From Hotel Kriemhilde
Take the Tram 16, 17 to Sendlinger Tor, and then change to U3 or U6 to Universität (U3 towards Olympiazentrum or U6 towards Garching or Fröttmaning).
From Hotel Nymphenburg
Take the U1 from Rotkreutzplatz or Mailingerstraße to Sendlinger Tor (direction Mangfallplatz). Change to U3 or U6 to Universität.
From Parkhotel Laim
Take U4 or U5 from Westendstraße to Odeonsplatz, and then change to U3 or U6 to Universität.
From Munich-City Youth Hostel
From Wendl-Dietrich-Str. 20, walk to Rotkreutz Platz. Take U1 to Sendlinger Tor, and the change to U3 or U6 to Universität.
Getting to MCMP and LMU Philosophy department (Ludwigstraße 31)
Then take the U-bahn (U3 towards Olympiazentrum or U6 towards Garching or Fröttmaning) two stops from Marienplatz to Universität (about 3 min).
When you get off at Universität you want to take the exit towards the right, and subsequently the escalator on the left side. You'll come up on the corner of Ludwigstraße (the mainstreet) and Adalbertstrasse. Walk down Ludwigstrasse towards the Siegestor. The entry to the philosophy department and MCMP is on your left hand (Ludwigstrasse 31).
